What an emotional time for them, both proud and scared, as you well know. Congrats on raising such a fine son and I'll be keeping him in my prayers as he continues his training and military career. One is in school in 29 Palms and by the time he finishes there won't be enough time left for him to be sent anywhere. The other needs another knee surgery probably in March/April so he's not deployable at all.

Time flies and before you know it he'll be talking about coming home.

Hugs

TrishTrishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15107454799383529879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9300842.post-19948253428042242662007-01-29T06:17:00.000-06:002007-01-29T06:17:00.000-06:00What a handsome young man! What a brave man he is!
I got all teary eyed just reading your post. I can't imagine how you feel. I have all daughters who are not going into the services, so I have nothing emotion wise to go on. Just know that we appreciate your son doing what he is doing so that we all may continue to make the choices we want to make. My love to you all.claudiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16572555442321120647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9300842.post-79233962336484950412007-01-26T08:52:00.000-06:002007-01-26T08:52:00.000-06:00My husband and I will be praying for your son and ...My husband and I will be praying for your son and especially for you and your family and you "Keep the Home Fires burning".
